Federal funding to Replace oil heating with a ground or air source heat pump
The federal government offers $10,000 in the form of a grant to successful applicants to switch from oil heating to either a geothermal system or an air source heat pump IF your combined income falls below a certain level. The number is dependent on the amount of people that live in the house. ​

Provincial Programs for 2025 (Ontario)
​
The provincial government has pledged a UNIVERSAL rebate for households that choose to switch to geothermal or an air source heat pump as well! As of January 28 , 2025, you can receive up to 1/3 of the cost of a new heating system back from the province of Ontario. This could amount up to $12,000 of your cost!
